Why do we need Jesus?

Many decide right from wrong by personal experience, emotion and inner feeling, a subjective truth that varies from person to person and shifts with the social and political climate. That makes truth a moving target.

God is the source of truth, and we find truth in His Word

Bible-believing Christians affirm that God determines right from wrong, and He has told us in Scripture. When we fail to meet God's standard of righteousness, the Bible calls it sin.

We are all sinners

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Romans 3:23

Christians don't consider themselves better than anyone. Everyone falls short.

Sin must be judged, and a price must be paid

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Romans 6:23

Because of sin, we all deserve Hell. But God loves us and does not want anyone condemned, and His justice requires that the price be paid.

Jesus paid the price of sin for you

Jesus, God in the flesh and without sin, paid the price for our sins on the cross.

God demonstrates his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8

You must turn to Jesus to be saved

Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.John 3:3

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.John 14:6

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.Romans 10:9

Eternal life has everything to do with Jesus

Heaven depends entirely on Jesus as your Saviour, not on church attendance, good works or religious observance.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.John 3:36
