Easter Weekend 2021 Message 01 of 02
The Attraction of the Crucifixion
Pastor Anthony King· April 2, 2021
John 12:32
This message's recording isn't online.
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
John 12:32
The cross is repulsive.
The sacrificial Son of God is inviting.
God’s love casts a net that draws us to Jesus.
God’s love was most powerfully displayed upon the Cross.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16
The Son of Man is saving.
As we have rebelled, we have all been issued punishment from God.
As an act of God’s mercy, love and grace, He has lifted up Jesus that all who look to Him may be saved.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:14-16
The Savior is exalted.
The cross no longer holds power.
For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.2 Corinthians 13:4
This salvation is available.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32
