Messages on questions our church family asked to hear preached, taken straight from the Scriptures.
The Need for Wisdom
Wisdom is necessary for everyone, for everything, at every time in life.
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.Proverbs 4:7
God is the source of wisdom.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.James 1:5
Wisdom is a matter of stewardship.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.Galatians 5:13
AI as a Tool
God’s creation vs Man’s creation
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.Genesis 1:31
Tools should be used with right intention.
Tools should be used with righteous discernment.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.1 Corinthians 10:23
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.1 Thessalonians 5:21

Remain Biblically Uncompromised
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.Romans 12:2
Discernment needs sharpening.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.Colossians 2:8
Feed the Spirit
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.Galatians 5:16
Focus on your purpose
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.Philippians 2:2
AI and God
Replacing God with anything is idolatry.
I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:Exodus 20:2-4
There are no shortcuts with God.
God desires restoration not replacement.
They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.Jeremiah 27:22
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9
We all need wisdom every day; ask for it.
Utilize the tools at your disposal to edify you and your family and bring God glory.
When you have life questions, run to Scripture first and spiritual counsel second.
Seek connection over convenience.
Nothing replaces God; If it does it’s an idol.
9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Philippians 1:9-10
