How to Fix This Mess

Authentic Christians wish no harm, mistreatment or unkindness on anyone, under any circumstances.

When faced with changes in society, we can:

Conform. Do nothing. Stand for truth.

We have been called to live in this world.

Our society is hostile to biblical truth.

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.2 Timothy 4:2-4

The world is crooked.

There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.Romans 3:11-18

We should not be surprised when a sinner lives a lifestyle of sin.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.John 8:44

The world is perverse.

Perverse: contrary to the accepted or expected standard or practice.

The world now requires us to deny biblical truth and scientific facts.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.Genesis 1:27

The world seeks to indoctrinate children from the earliest age.

While sin takes hold and refuses to let go, the world sinks the hooks in deeper.

The world seeks to repress the truth.

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.2 Corinthians 4:4

Churches are turning their back on God’s Word and falling over themselves to be deemed “woke.”

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.Acts 20:29-30

This is an act of desperation in an attempt to remain relevant.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!Isaiah 5:20

How NOT to fix this mess.

**- Look to politicians to fix the situation. You cannot legislate morality.

• Fight the system.
• Fight other people.
• Become a crusader. There will always be an issue to fight over.
• Allow hatred to take up space in your heart.**

How to fix this mess.

**- Take responsibility for training your children, otherwise the world will gladly do it.

• Share the Gospel.
• Live the Gospel.
• Live visible, consistent Christianity.
• Don’t quit.
• Lift up Jesus.**

Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.Psalm 125:4-5
