The book of Colossians
Ready to play
This sermon from Colossians 2:13–15 explains that Jesus took our place on the cross, paying the full penalty for sin and satisfying God’s justice. Because of His sacrifice, believers are completely forgiven, freed from the condemnation of the law, and given victory over Satan. The cross not only secures our salvation but calls us to live in grace, serve in love, and walk confidently in the freedom Christ has won.
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”
Colossians 2:13

13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
