The series
Messages from Easter, Christmas, New Year, missions and anniversary Sundays, and guest preachers.
God is for you.
God loves you.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16
If God is for us, those who oppose us are inconsequential.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.1 John 4:4
Your sin had separated you from God.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Romans 3:23
Your sin had earned you God’s punishment.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.Romans 6:23
God sent Jesus to die in your place.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8
God wants to save you from your sin.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.Romans 10:9-10
Once we are saved, are no longer under the penalty of our sin.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.John 3:36
Jesus died and rose again so you could be forgiven and free from sin.
This means a relationship with God as your Father.
For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.John 16:27-28
This means being adopted into God’s family.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.Romans 8:15
This means eternal life in Heaven.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16
This means forgiveness, not just for today, but through eternity.
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.1 John 2:12
The resurrection of Jesus means you are made clean.
Your Father wants to give you the good stuff of life.
Jesus is for you.
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.John 16:23-24
31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Romans 8:31-34
